The Employee Safety Committee meets the second Thursday of each month in the Council Work Room, however, once each quarter, we meet to conduct on-site inspections at each of the City's facilities (i.e. City Hall/Police Station, SWWTP/NWWTP, Golf Course, etc.)
All City departments are represented on the Safety Committee as one employee from each City department designates an employee to represent them for the calendar year. All employees are encouraged to communicate any/all safety questions, comments and concerns through your safety committee representative, or directly to Sara, the agency's designated Safety Officer.
This committee doubles as the agency's Wellness Committee and will, at least on a quarterly basis, review the agency's wellness program.
